Thailand 10-Day Itinerary 2026: Bangkok, Chiang Mai & Phuket
Published: April 29, 2026
Thailand is bigger than it looks on the map, and its three most popular regions couldn't be more different. This 10-day itinerary connects Bangkok's royal temples and sky-high malls, Chiang Mai's moated old town and elephant sanctuaries, and Phuket's Andaman beaches — the perfect introduction to Thailand.

Why Bangkok → Chiang Mai → Phuket?
| City | Vibe | Days |
|---|---|---|
| Bangkok | Dense, hot, urban — temples meet skywalk malls | 3 |
| Chiang Mai | Moated old town, cafés, slow pace | 3 |
| Phuket | Beach finale — Phi Phi, Phang Nga Bay | 3 |
| Travel days | Domestic flights between cities | 1 |
Why not 7 days? You'll spend too much time in transit, rush through temples, and only get one real beach day.
